1. Training objectives
(1) Master the core theory of Marxism, adhere to the party's basic line, love the homeland, follow the law, cultivate excellent morals, and actively support the socialist modernization movement.
(2) Master the solid basic theory and systematic professional knowledge of control science and engineering, and have a wide range of knowledge; master a foreign language, be able to read control science and engineering literature in a foreign language proficiently, and have the ability to translate between Chinese and foreign, Write abstracts of foreign language papers and have certain listening and speaking skills; Also must have the ability to conduct scientific research, teaching, or specialized technical work independently.
2. Training direction
The subject of "Control Theory and Control Engineering" takes control systems in the engineering fields as the main object, and studies various control strategies and related theories, technologies and methods of modeling, analysis, synthesis, design, and realization of control systems. The main research areas included intelligent control and advanced control systems, motor and maglev system design-drive-control, Internet of Things and integrated automation, new energy power generation control, intelligent robots, etc.
The subject of "Detection Technology and Automation Device" is to study the theory, method and technology of information extraction, conversion, transmission, and processing of the controlled object. The main research areas include non-destructive testing technology, nano-precision measurement technology, embedded systems, new sensors, and application systems etc.
The subject of "system engineering" takes large systems as objects, uses the ideas, viewpoints and methods of systems and control, and uses computers as tools to analyze, reveal and preview the development and evolution process of various complex objects, in order to design one or more enabled system. A systematic process for achieving desired goals more quickly, efficiently and cost-effectively. The main research fields include power system optimization and control, information system decision-making and automation, electrical system integrated automation, system reliability theory and application, etc.
The subject of "Pattern Recognition and Intelligent Systems" mainly studies information collection, processing and feature extraction, pattern recognition and analysis, artificial intelligence and intelligent system design. His research fields include biological information processing and pattern recognition, video image background separation and moving object recognition, data mining, and computer vision, etc.
According to the needs of discipline development, research directions will be added or revised.
3. Study period
The academic system of this course is three years. Postgraduates should complete the courses and dissertations required by the training program within the prescribed number of years, complete the credits, and graduate on schedule. Also, upon the application of the graduate student, the consent of the school, and the approval of the Graduate School (preparation), the study period may be extended, but the study period shall not exceed five years. Under the premise of completing the requirements of the training program, postgraduates can apply for graduation half a year or one year in advance, but the academic period should not be less than 2 years.
The time ratio between master's degree course study and degree (graduation) thesis is generally 1:1.
4. Training methods
(1) Implement the tutor responsibility system, combine it with the collective training of the steering group, and combine course learning with scientific research.
(2) Graduate students should complete the course learning tasks listed in the personal training plan, undertake the scientific research work arranged by the supervisor, and complete the dissertation.
(3) The graduate students will participate in a mid-term assessment examination after the completion of the course study, and the mid-term assessment examination will be carried out in accordance with the "Shenzhen University Mid-term Assessment and Screening Measures for Graduate Students".
(4) In principle, postgraduates who are interdisciplinary, professional, or admitted with the same level of academic qualifications should take up the main courses of their disciplines and majors, which will be determined by the supervisor when formulating the personal training plan.
5. Personal training plan
In the first semester, the subject points will determine the supervisor for the graduate students through the mutual selection of teachers and students, and they will be approved by the college and reported to the Graduate School (preparation).
Before the end of the first semester, the supervisor and the supervised graduate students will jointly formulate and submit the personal training plan for graduate students according to the requirements of this training program. The paper files of the personal training plan are kept by the college, and the electronic files are uploaded to the Graduate School (under preparation).
